The dentist, Algodones, Mexico (click here for more info)
My first trip to Mexico was to see the dentist, Dr. Carlos Lastra, for a cleaning and tooth extraction. I paid a total of $75 for the same services that two different dentists in the US quoted at around $350. Dr. Lastra and his staff were very professional and attentive. The office is pleasant, clean, and very modern. Other than being a little sore, the whole experience was a positive one, very easy and simple, and the best part: no more toothache for me!

you paid for the same service but you were shortchanged. No way your cleaning was the "professional" cleaning you would receive here in the U.S. Glad you saved some money though, most people that is their first priority when traveling to Mexico for dental or medical tourism
